nascută la Galati în 1968. A absolvit Facultatea de Știința și Ingineria Alimentelor la Universitatea Dunărea de Jos din Galați (UGAL), Romania (1993). Absolventă a programului de studii aprofundate Tehnologii Speciale în Industria Alimentară (1999). A fost preparator si asistent (1999-2005), șef de lucrări (2005-2007), conferențiar (2007-2013) și este profesor la disciplinele Tehnologia laptelui și Calitatea și siguranța alimentelor din 2013, susținând teza de abilitare în 2019. Experiență profesională: referent la Consiliul local (1994-1997), profesor la Grupul școlar de industrie alimentară Dumitru Moțoc iar, din 1999, angajată a UGAL. Activitate didactică: a coordonat proiectele de finalizare a studiilor a 30 masteranzi și peste 40 studenți la licență. Membră în comisia de susținere publică a 15 teze de doctorat. Cercetare: A fost implicată în 20 de proiecte naționale și internaționale. Bibliografie: 14 cărți și capitole de cărți și 45 de lucrări ISI. Premii și recunoaștere: A primit premii pentru carte din partea Academiei de Științe Agricole și Silvice (ASAS) și mai mult de 10 articole au fost premiate de UEFISCDI. În 2018 a coordonat echipa de studenți ai facultății, câștigătoare a concursului european de ecoinovare, premiul Ecotrophelia Gold, Paris, Franța. Începând cu 2021 este reprezentata națională în domeniul Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment în comitetul programului de cercetare inovare Horizon Europe.

CV: Born in Galati, 1968. She graduated the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering at Dunarea de Jos University of Galati (UGAL), Romania (1993). She graduated the Advanced Study Program programme in Special technologies in Food Industry (1999). She acquired her PhD in industrial engineering at UGAL (2005). She was assistant (1999-2005), Assistant Professor (2007-2007) associate professor (2007-2013), and she is full professor (2013) teaching Food Quality and Dairy Science, and presented her habilitation thesis (2019). Working activity: She was referent at the Local Council (1994-1997), High school teacher (1997-1999) and since 1999 to now, employed by UGAL Romania. Pedagogical work: Daniela Borda mentored 30 MSc and over 40 BSc students. Internal and external examiner for 15 PhD thesis. In 2018 Daniela Borda coordinated the students` team winning the Ecotrophelia Europe Gold Prize, Paris, France. Research work: She was involved in 20 national and international research projects. Bibliography: 14 and books` chapters and books and 45 ISI papers. Awards and recognitions: She received book prizes from the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (ASAS) and more than 10 papers prizes from the National Council of Research (UEFISCDI). Główny obszar badań obejmuje analizę produktów uzyskanych przy użyciu znanych lub nowych technologii modyfikujących cechy jakościowe gotowego produktu, ale również prowokujących tworzenie nowych substancji o pozytywnym oddziaływaniu na organizm człowieka, jakim są na przykład związki biologicznie aktywne o właściwościach przeciwutleniających. CV: a scientist at the Department of Chemistry and Biodynamics of Food at the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn. The main areas of research include the rheological and technological properties of various types of dough and bread as well as buckwheat and oat flour as ingredients of gluten-free bread or fermented products. Also, she is interested in the analysis of products obtained using known or new technologies which could modify not only the qualitative characteristics of the finished product but also provoke the creation of new substances with positive effects on the human body, such as biologically active compounds with antioxidant properties. CV: Rođen 1964. godine u Sarajevu (Bosna i Hercegovina). Dipolomirao 1990. na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu u Sarajevu. Magistrirao 1996. na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu u Novom Sadu (Srbija), gdje je i doktorirao 2000. i time stekao zvanje doktora poljoprivrednih nauka u oblasti stočarstvo–mljekarstvo. Radno iskustvo: od 1992. radi na Biotehničkom institutu u Podgorici (Crna Gora), koji je transformisan u Biotehnički fakultet. Dvije godine radio u Land O’ Lakes Montenegro kao stručnjak za razvoj mljekarskog sektora u Crnoj Gori. Od 2017. radi kao redovan profesor na Biotehničkom fakultetu. Od 2001 do 2018 bio je menadžer Laboratorije za mljekarstvo. Pedagoške aktivnosti: Od 2007. do danas, angažovan je u nastavi na Biotehničkom fakultetu na više predmeta iz oblasti stočarstvo – mljekarstvo. Bio je mentor na preko 80 diplomskih radova, 3 magistarska rada i jednoj doktorskoj disertaciji. Istraživačke aktivnosti: Učestvovao je u realizaciji međunarodnih, bilateralnih i nacionalnih projekata od koji su najznačajniji: ”AgriSciMont” (FP7 REGPOT) i ”Katun” (HERIC Project). Bibliografija: Objavio preko 60 naučnih radova, ko-autor na dva univerzitetska udžbenika, i imao dva pozivna predavanja. Dodatne aktivnosti: Bio je menadžer Laboratorije za mljekarstvo od 2001 do 2017., koja je 2010. akreditovana po standardu ISO/IEC 17025, a 2014. uspješno reakreditovana.

CV: Born 1964 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Graduated in 1990 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Sarajevo. In 1996, he received his master’s degree at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad (Serbia), where he also received his doctorate in 2000 and thus obtained the title of doctor of agricultural sciences in the field of Animal husbandry-Dairy. Work experience: From 1992 he started to work at the Biotechnical Institute in Podgorica (Montenegro), that is transformed into Biotechnical Fakulty. He spent two years at Land O’Lakes Montenegro as an expert for development of dairy sector in Montenegro. Since 2017 he works as full professor at Biotechnical Faculty. Also, he was manager of the Dairy Laboratory from 2001 to 2018. Pedagogical activity: Since 2007 he has been engaged at the Biotechnical Faculty in teaching several subjects in the field of Animal husbandry – Dairy. He was mentor for over 80 graduate theses, 3 master’s theses and one doctoral dissertation. Research activities: Participated in the implementation of international, bilateral and national projects, the most important of which are: “AgriSciMont” (FP7 REGPOT) and “Katun” (HERIC Project). Bibliography: Published more than 60 scientific papers, co-author of two college textbooks and two times was invited lecturer. Additionally: He was the manager of the Dairy Laboratory from 2001 to 2018, that was accreditated in 2010 according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and in 2014 successfully re-accredited.
