Življenjepis: Rojena 1971 v Novem mestu, 1991-1998 študij gospodinjstva in biologije na UL, 1998 diploma, 1997-2009 učiteljica, predavateljica, ravnateljica Višje strokovne šole, Grm NM, 2000-2007 magisterij znanosti s področja živilstva, od 2009 do danes predavateljica, ravnateljica Višje strokovne šole, BIC LJ. Pedagoško delo: od 1997 poučevanje različnih predmetov (biologija, prehrana, osnov gastronomije, dopolnilne dejavnosti na kmetiji, turizem in razvoj podeželja, kuharstvo itd.) in pedagoško vodenje na VSŠ. Raziskovalno delo: od 1997 do danes raziskovanje kulinarične dediščine, 2004-2006 kulture pitja slovenskih srednješolcev. Bibliografija: COBISS izpis obsega 39 enot, od tega 5 avtorskih in 3 soavtorske strokovne članke, 6 zbornikov mednarodnih strokovnih konferenc ter 1 strokovno monografijo. Zadolžitve: koordinatorka več (5) mednarodnih strokovnih konferenc Trendi in izzivi v živilstvu, prehrani, gostinstvu, turizmu, izobraževanju in usposabljanju, sodelovanje v projektih s področja gostinstva, turizma, dediščine, prehrane, kot sta Uživam tradicijo (Interreg V-A Slovenija – Hrvaška), Slovenija – Evropska gastronomska regija 2021 in številni drugi. Članica upravnega odbora Skupnosti Višjih strokovnih šol, društva Ravnatelj, Konzorcija biotehniških šol Slovenije in članica organizacijskih odborov različnih tekmovanj za dijake in študente.

Pedagogical work: since 1997 teaching different subjects (biology, nutrition, basics of gastronomy, complementary activities on the farm, tourism and rural development, cooking etc.) and works as head teacher at Vocational College. Research work: from 1997 – up to now researching culinary heritage, 2004-2006 Culture of drinking habits of Slovenian secondary students.
