Življenjepis: rojen v Ljubljani, 1983. 2002-2009: študij biokemije na Fakulteti za kemijo in kemijsko tehnologijo, Univerze v Ljubljani, 2009-2014: doktorski študij Bioznanosti na Biotehniški fakulteti, Univerze v Ljubljani (UL BF). Zaposlitve: 2009-2013: mladi raziskovalec UL BF, 2013-2014: raziskovalec UL BF, 2014–2017: asistent z doktoratom (UL BF), 2017-2019: podoktorski raziskovalec in asistent (UL BF) 2019-danes: asistent z doktoratom (UL BF). Pedagoško delo: za obdobje 2021-2026 izvoljen v naziv docent za področje prehrane in asistent za področje mlekarstva na UL BF. Kot sonosilec izvaja predavanja in vaje pri skupno sedmih predmetih na visokošolskih in univerzitetnih študijih Oddelka za zootehniko in Oddelka za živilstvo, UL BF. Raziskovalno delo: kot raziskovalec sodeloval v treh raziskovalnih projektih in bil vodja podoktorskega projekta (2017-2019;ARRS). Med drugim raziskovalno delo obsega študij mikrobiote materinega mleka in dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na njeno sestavo; proučevanje vplivov na koagulacijske sposobnosti mleka ter proučevanje varnosti mleka. Bibliografija: SICRIS obsega 56 enot, med njimi 10 znanstvenih člankov, dve vabljeni predavanji in poglavje v znanstveni monografiji. Drugo: opravil intenzivno strokovno usposabljanje za sisteme vodenja varnih živil in strokovno usposabljanje za skrbnike sistema vodenja varnih živil po zahtevah ISO 22000:2018. Sodeloval pri organizaciji mednarodnega znanstvenega simpozija, Ljubljana, Slovenija (2011) in Poletni šoli za dijake srednjih šol, Ljubljana, Slovenija (2020).

Pedagogical work: for the period 2021-2026 he was elected assistant professor in the field of nutrition and teaching assistant in the field of dairy at UL BF. As a co-lecturer, he lectures and exercises in a total of seven subjects in higher education and university studies of the Department of animal science and the Department of Food Science, UL BF. Research work: as a researcher he participated in three research projects and was the head of a postdoctoral project (2017-2019; ARRS). Among other, research work includes the study of microbiota of breast milk and the factors influencing its composition; studying the effects on the coagulation capacity of milk and studying the milk safety. Bibliography: SICRIS comprises 56 units, including 10 scientific articles, two invited lectures and a chapter in a scientific monography. Other: completed intensive professional training for food safety management systems and professional training for administrator for food safety management system according to the requirements of ISO 22000: 2018. Participated in the organization of the International Scientific Symposium, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2011) and the Summer School for High School Students, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2020).
