Životopis: Rođena 1958. u Drnišu. Diplomirala 1982., magistrirala 1985, i doktorirala 1989. na Prehrambeno-biotehnološkom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (UNIZG-PBF). Usavršavanje: Hrvatsko-talijanska stipendija (Rim, 1988), the British Council, (Grimsby i Uxbridge London, 1990-1991); the Royal Society of Chemistry-J.W.T. Jones Fellowship (Manchester, 1994). Radna aktivnost: Redovita je profesorica na UNIZG-PBF (od 2006). Prodekanica za znanstvenu međunarodnu suradnju UNIZG-PBF (2001-2003). Znanstvena aktivnost: Utjecaj različitih čimbenika na promjenu barijernih svojstava polimernih materijala i na trajnost upakirane hrane. Bibliografija: Objavila je 89 znanstvena i 24 stručna rada, sudjelovala na znanstvenim i stručnim skupovima (96). Koautorica je 2 sveučilišna udžbenika i 13 poglavlja. Pedagoški rad: Mentorica je 33 diplomska, 4 znanstvena magistarska i 4 doktorska rada. Drugo: Članica je: Upravnog i izvršnog odbora Hrvatskog društvo prehrambenih tehnologa, biotehnologa i nutricionista; Stalnog odbora za širenje znanosti i komunikaciju (2016-danas) i izvršnog odbora (2008-2016) the European Federation of Food Science and Technology; članica the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK (1991-danas). Tajnica u organizaciji međunarodnih kongresa (2001, 2003, 2008). Dobitnica državne nagrade za znanost (2008 i 2011), EFFoST Outstanding Achievement Award (2013); Zahvalnice HDPBN-a (2015) i Univerziteta u Bihaću (2018).

CV: Born in Drniš, 1958. Graduated in 1982, received her M.Sc. in 1985 and Ph.D. in 1989, from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology (UNIZG-PBF). Fellowships: Croatian-Italian (Rome, 1988), the British Council fellowship, (Grimsby and Uxbridge London, 1990-1991); the Royal Society of Chemistry-J.W.T. Jones (Manchester, 1994). Working activity: Full professor at the UNIZG-PBF (from 2006). Vice-dean for the international scientific cooperation (2001-2003) at UNIZG-PBF. Research work: Factors affecting barrier changes of polymers and their effect of the shelf life of packaged food. Bibliography: She published 89 scientific and 24 professional papers and presented her work at numbers of meetings (96). She is co-author of 2 university textbooks and 13 book chapters. Pedagogical work: Mentor of 33 graduate diplomas, 4 scientific master and 4 doctoral theses. Additionally: Executive and governing committee member of the Croatian Society of Food Technologists Biotechnologists and Nutritionists; Member of the Standing Committee for Science Dissemination & Communication (2016-present) & member of the executive committee (2008-2016) of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology; member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK (1991-present). Secretary (2001, 2003, and 2008) for the international congress organization. Awards and recognitions: State awards for science (2008, 2011); EFFoST Outstanding Achievement Award (2013); Acknowledgement CROFoST (2015) and University of Bihać (2018).
