Življenjepis: Rojena 1965. Diplomirala (1989), magistrirala (1993) in doktorirala (1998) je iz kemije na Fakulteti za kemijo in kemijsko tehnologijo (FKKT) Univerze v Ljubljani. Zaposlena na FKKT (1990-1993), Kemijskem inštitutu (od 1994, 2008-2020 vodja Odseka za prehrambeno kemijo) in EN-FIST centru odličnosti (2010-2013, vodja RRP7). Raziskovalno delo: Razvoj metod na osnovi kromatografskih in sklopljenih tehnik za določanje, izolacijo in identifikacijo biološko aktivnih naravnih spojin. Aktivna je kot vodja raziskovalnega programa, nacionalnih, bilateralnih in evropskih (delovnih sklopov) raziskovalnih projektov. Bila je v 29 znanstvenih in 8 organizacijskih odborih mednarodnih simpozijev, trikrat kot predsednica (isss2020.si, hptlc2020.si, isss2015.si). Je članica uredniških odborov več znanstvenih revij. Bila je mentorica oz. somentorica 7 doktorandov, 9 diplomantov in magistranta. Bibliografija: 494 bibliografskih enot v bazi COBISS, 105 izvirnih znanstvenih člankov, 8 poglavij v znanstvenih monografijah, več kot 40 predavanj (34 vabljenih) na mednarodnih znanstvenih simpozijih in 4 patenti. Nagrade: “Medal and award for achievements in the field of chromatography and related separation techniques“; “Prometej znanosti za odličnost v komuniciranju”; “Grand Prize Winner na mednarodnem tekmovanju iGEM 2010” (MIT, ZDA) s skupino “Slovenian team”. Dodatne zadolžitve: Je predsednica Sekcije za živilsko kemijo Slovenskega kemijskega društva (SKD) in predstavnica SKD v: Food Chemistry Division of European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences, European Society for Separation Sciences in Central European Group for Separation Sciences.

CV: Born in 1965; B.Sc. (1989), M.Sc. (1993), PhD. (1998) in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology (FCCT), University of Ljubljana. She was employed at FCCT (1990-1993), National Institute of Chemistry (since 1994, 2008-2020 head of the Department of Food Chemistry) and EN-FIST Centre of Excellence (2010-2013, RRP7 head). Research interests: Development of new methods based on chromatographic and hyphenated techniques for determination, isolation and identification of bioactive natural compounds. She is active as principal investigator of research programme, national, bilateral and European (WP leader) research projects. She participated in 29 scientific and 8 organising committees of international symposia, 3 times as chair (isss2020.si, hptlc2020.si, isss2015.si). She is a member of editorial boards of several scientific journals. She was a mentor/co-mentor of 7 PhD, 1 MSc and 9 BSc students. Bibliography: 494 bibliographic units in data base COBISS, 105 scientific articles, 8 scientific chapters in monographs, more than 40 lectures (34 invited) at international scientific symposia and 4 patents.
